A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

When I’m not doing art I am still striving to be as active and creative as can be. From working out, photography, visual design and consulting, bonding with my wife and soon to be daughter, exploring new surroundings and overall just enjoying new experiences.

2. Why do you make art?

I always say I came out of the womb with a pencil and paper. Art has always been my portal to serenity, honing into my creativity. It is also the launchpad in creating vibrant experiences for others to partake in.

3. What inspires you?

Being able to be creative whether it’s for myself or helping others excites me. Inspiration for me encompasses everything around me, from family, friends, music, art, business, and nature.

4. What/who are your influences?

My influences stem from my love from curiosity and love for learning but also the many people who create. Some of my influences include Basquiat, Pharrell, Kaws, Kanye, Gordon Parks, Jeff Koons, Ernie Barnes, Keith Haring, Irving Penn, Pablo Ferro, Brian Collins the list goes on.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

I think it would be great to have met Kobe Bryant to understand how he could zone in but also understand his level of work ethic; Also, Pharrell Williams to understand creative collaboration in the many different areas he’s involved in.
